There’s no other B&B in Russell quite like Arcadia Lodge. The house has sat in it’s magnificent position overlooking Russell’s tranquil Matauwhi Bay for over 100 years and now combines the charm and character of an historic house with luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation, relaxed hospitality and glorious views. For many of our guests one of their delights is to relax on the decks and drink in the 180° panorama of water, bush and yachts. Two spacious suites and a studio room, all with water-views and private decks, make up the ground-floor accommodation while upstairs are two charming rooms, a double with a magnificent bay vista, the other a super-king room. Start your day on the main front deck with our generous, healthy breakfast: fresh Kerikeri orange juice, Northland fruit, home made muesli, jams and preserves, organic coffee and teas, then a delicious café-style cooked special. You’ll be all set for your day out in the bay.
DIRECTIONS:On the right soon after you enter Russell. Look for signs. For our flat rear car park, drive on into village; at the church turn right up steep Robertson St. At top, right again onto Brind Rd and down hill again. Follow signs to our driveway.
