Built in 1997 on the historic site of Britain’s first seat of government (the original Russell) at Okiato Point. Located above Pipiroa Bay with conservation reserves either side and decks in bush-clad surrounds. With “million dollar” views, bird song and waves lapping gently below, a good night’s sleep is the norm. The ground level apartment is accessed by covered verandah and has full kitchen, newly fitted down to the Kiwi “dish drawer”; dining, lounge and two ensuite bedrooms. Complete with own laundry, BBQ, TV, video and stereo. All in a park-like setting, it is ideal for the longer stay. Bay activities are available in Russell or, via the close-by Okiato-Opua ferry, in Paihia and Waitangi. Not suitable for small children. Long stay rates quoted on request.

DIRECTIONS:From the Opua-Okiato ferry, turn left after approx. 400m into Pipiroa Rd, after 50m continue into James Clendon Place. Belvedere Lodge is the first residence on the right.
