Set in tranquil surroundings at the foot of Mt Hutt, with many summer and winter activities close by, Green Gables Deer Farm is within easy reach of Christchurch (1 hr), Kaikoura for Whale Watching and Dolphins (3 hrs), Mt. Cook (3.5 hrs) and Queenstown (approx 5.5 hrs). Our stylish rooms have all the comforts you will require, with your own private entrance opening out onto the garden with a  backdrop of graceful deer wandering in the paddocks and the ever changing colours of the mountain views. There is plenty of room to stroll, maybe feed the pet deer and meet our friendly dogs or just relax  and unwind. Dine in by arrangement and enjoy the fresh local produce used in our home-cooked meals  and desserts, together with a complimentary pre-dinner drink.
