Relax in a quiet rural setting with homestyle welcome and atmosphere.Centrally situated for tourist attractions, 1½ hours from Auckland Airport and Rotorua, Waitomo Caves 40 minutes, Tongariro National Park two hours, Otorohanga Kiwi House and Aviary 20 minutes, National Field days site, V8’s and Hamilton Airport 15 minutes. We run a deer finishing unit. The surrounding district has traditional dairy and beef farms as well as a diverse range of horticulture: asparagus, nashis, apples, flowers and vegetables. There is a superb country golf course just down the road and award winning “Vilagrad” vineyard close by. Transfers from Hamilton or airport can be arranged. Relax by a cosy fire in the formal lounge in the winter or cool off beside the pool in the summer. There is also an outdoor spa pool and croquet. French doors open out into the garden from all the bedrooms, which are furnished in country style complete with fresh flowers, hairdryers, robes and complimentary toiletries. There’s also a cot should you require one. Fax, internet and laundry facilities available. Cooked or continental breakfast is included and dinner by request $45 per person. We have one Burmese cat.
