Jan welcomes you to Mt Pleasant Homestay. Simply park your car at the front door and prepare to enjoy warm hospitality in a new, modern home with breathtaking views. You can be sure of a quiet comfortable stay and enjoy sumptuous breakfasts while gazing out over the Pacific to distant mountains. All guest rooms open to the sheltered patio and garden of roses and perennials and Bellbirds in the near-by trees. Our road leads to a spectacular Scenic Drive, countless walkways and cycle tracks. Many attractions are in this immediate vicinity, an early settler village, Maori village and gondola. Ferrymead, three mins by car, has a variety of cafés and restaurants, as does Sumner Beach (of Lonely Planet fame) an eight minute drive. Guests have a lounge and kitchen. Private Suite is available for a minimum 2 night stay at $230 per night including breakfast. Be prepared to lose your heart to my second in charge: Mollie, a personable Tibetan Terrier.
