Only 2 hours North of Auckland en route to Waipoua forest (giant Kauri trees) and the Bay of Islands, and just 10 minutes from the Matakohe Kauri museum. Petite Provence is an eco friendly country B&B set on 7 hectares, panoramic views of countryside and distant Kaipara harbour from all rooms opening onto a covered deck. Very peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Evening meals Monday to Thursday, Mediterranean, vegetarian & local cuisine. Free wifi. Guy is French, Linda a New Zealander.
