Frances and Brian pride themselves in offering friendly, informal hospitality within the comforts of a warm character home. It gives guests the opportunity to ‘Catch Your Breath and Breakfast’ after a long day travelling. Teichelmann’s, located in the heritage area of Hokitika, is a large home built for Dr Ebenezer Teichelmann in 1910. Its layout gives our guests privacy if they wish or to relax in the comfort of a separate guest’s lounge. The house has been refurbished to include very comfortable beds, quality furnishings and excellent ensuite bathroom facilities. Join other guests for a substantial continental or cooked breakfast at our elegant table which seats ten and enjoy swapping experiences and stories with people from all parts of the world. Children over ten years of age are welcome. Our home is smoke free.
