Situated in a unique, unspoilt location, your welcoming hosts enjoy making guest stays comfortable and memorable. We offer home-made and locally-produced foods and complimentary drinks. Hairdryer, laundry and wireless internet available. A wide choice of outdoor activities caters for all fitness levels. Excellent walks. Farewell Spit, Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks are nearby, as is access to the Heaphy Track. Guests can follow the trail of Golden Bay’s artisan outlets sampling, en route, our  interesting cafes and restaurants (including The Mussel Inn), or merely relax on the deck and at nearby sandy beaches, or in the garden. Heron’s Rest is a peaceful location, yet very convenient, via our bush track, to amenities in Collingwood. In addition, our charming cottage nestled up in the trees sleeps 3  comfortably, offering a double and single bed/s, all with sea views. It has an ensuite bathroom, hairdryer, private deck with gas BBQ, giving outdoor dining options. It has superb sea/mountain/estuary views, TV,  most kitchen appliances including fridge and microwave; we provide breakfasts.

Just before Collingwood township, turn right up Lewis St, left into Washington Rd, then left into Gibbs Rd. Proceed to end, taking left fork of (level) gravel road - to end. We're on the headland overlooking Collingwood.
