Welcome to our home offering luxurious comfort and warm Kiwi hospitality, set in an acre of lawns and gardens on the shores of beautiful Lake Wanaka. Visitors can unwind in their own spacious and tastefully appointed private wing, which opens out to a peaceful courtyard and landscaped grounds running down to the lake. Our guests are welcome to share our living areas with its collections of antiques and New Zealand art or just relax in their own private lounge with tea/coffee facilities, Sky TV, a New Zealand library and writing desk. Enjoy the lakeside walk to the township accessible from our home. After extensive experience hosting farm-stays we built Atherton House to provide tranquil and comfortable surroundings perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views. We enjoy art, antiques, travel, all sports especially golf, good food and wine, meeting and helping guests experience our wonderful part of the world.
