The Ambers is a charming old-style European country house set in 14 lovely acres. It is situated on the main road north, 20 minutes north of Auckland. There are beautiful beaches, golf courses, cafés and restaurants nearby. Tiri Tiri Matangi Island bird sanctuary is also close by. The Ambers offers elegant country accommodation inclusive of European-style cooked breakfast. Guests have full use of the library which features a large comfortable desk, hundreds of books and fast broadband, internet access. We have four double bedrooms, three with their own ensuites. Choose from our elegant “Regency Room” or French style “Blue room” both on the 1st floor, or our romantic attic suite with antique claw-footed bath. The two attic rooms make an ideal family suite. DIRECTIONS:From South take Motorway Silverdale exit, turn left onto SH17, then immediately right into Pine Valley Rd. We are 300m down the hill in the first bend. From North on Motorway turn right into SH17. From Orewa cross Motorway into SH17. Proceed as above.
