An Edwardian era Lodge, Te Kiteroa is located midway between Christchurch and Dunedin close to SH1. Break your journey and connect with local history. Step back in time and enjoy Waimate, a farming community with origins of Sawmill township and Edwardian heritage. Te Kiteroa is set in a peaceful and tranquil setting with nearby walkways, birdlife, and natural habitat for local wallabies. Enjoy a soak in the outdoor hot tub or enjoy a glass of our own local wine. We have expanded the Lodge to include a vineyard and winery and have produced our own wines since 2006. We welcome everyone... Gary and Ann have worked overseas for many years but now enjoying welcoming visitors to their unique Lodge.
