When you come to this area you will experience Tekapo’s tranquility and a touch of mountain magic. Dawn and Barry extend to you a warm and friendly welcome. Our home with beautiful mountain and lake views is warm and comfortable. Rimu panelling, heart timber furniture and an attractive decor are blending in with the McKenzie Country. All guest bedrooms in their private wing are overlooking the garden, two are opening onto a balcony. Enjoy light refreshments on our patio surrounded by the scent of lavender and roses or view the ever-changing panorama from the lounge. In the morning you have the choice of either continental or special breakfast. A ten minute walk takes you to the centre with shops and restaurants. There are several lovely walkways nearby and Mount Cook is only a one hour scenic arive from Lake Tekapo. “Bessy”, the black labrador, and “Bella”, our persian himalayan color fortè kitten, will welcome you.
