Saxon Lodge, ‘The Organic Place’, is set on two acres just south of Hamilton. You wake up to the ‘dawn chorus’ – the birds greeting you and the morning. After a morning cup of herbal tea you can collect fresh eggs from our hens (the girls) and pick in season fruit for your breakfast. Our dog Sophie (a Pembroke corgi) and our cat Tara will help! You may have to chase the wild ducks, rabbits and pukekos (a native bird) out of your way! The house, designed by a local architect, is a stylish New Zealand single storey home with high raked timber ceilings and brick veneer. We love it and would like you to enjoy it too.
