Chris and Colin warmly welcome you to Glacier Rock. We enjoy nsharing our knowledge and love of the MacKenzie Country with our guests. Designed and built by Colin on sustainability principles, our home offers panoramic views of Lake Tekapo and the surrounding mountains. The two rooms each have ensuite, tea/coffee making facilities, TV, independent entry and direct access to a large sunny patio and breakfast/lounge room facing the view. The king room has spectacular views of the lake. The queen room overlooks the garden. A healthy continental breakfast is served with fresh homemade bread and yoghurt. You are welcome to wander around the gallery to view Colin’s paintings or you can ask to see Chris’ weaving. The gallery exhibits and sells Colin’s watercolour landscapes of New Zealand and a variety of land and cityscapes from Europe.

From SH8 turn into Hamilton Drive. Turn first left. Timber and stone house on left as road starts to climb. |
