A warm welcome awaits you at Braemar, a working farm 10 minutes drive from Invercargill and located on the Southern Scenic Route (State Highway 99). Guests are welcome to view the animals on the farm, dairy cows, calves, sheep, pigs, a cat or two or ‘Little One’, the donkey. Also on site is a small flower growing operation and farm shop. Local attractions include several nature reserves, wonderful Queens Park Museum and Art Gallery in Invercargill, several golf courses and two trout-fishing rivers. A hearty cooked breakfast is included. Internet access and laundry facilities available on request. The location of Braemar is ideal for a stop-over between the Catlins attractions and the Lakes of Manapouri, Te Anau or the Queenstown area.
