Stewart Island Lodge is an up-market Bed and Breakfast accommodation nestled in native bush on Stewart Island. Located just five minutes walk from the island’s village, the lodge is private and secluded with commanding views across Halfmoon Bay and Foveaux Strait. All guest rooms are king sized double or twin with their own ensuite bathroom and open onto an expansive balcony with stunning ocean views. A private guest lounge with an open fire provides an idyllic place to relax in the evening. The lodge’s grounds are home to many native birds, including kaka (native parrots) which may be viewed from the terrace. Each evening guests are invited to enjoy a pre-dinner drink and appetisers with their hosts. Restaurants are available for evening dining in the township of Oban (at guest’s expense). A continental or cooked breakfast is included in the tariff.
